A most excellent article and so poignant as I have been running these streets exploring the sights you’ve mentioned daily.

I was honoured enough to have an exclusive guided tour of Plato’s Academy and Aristotle’s (Garden) Academy, and have the philosophical talks you mentioned in the article on the same earth as Plato had his philosophical talks.

I’m here in Athens for a short time with my children and although I am Greek, I have never visited Greece, so because of your work and others who philosophise on the Ancients and the Stoics, I felt it was the right time we (kids and I), get educated on why we’re called Greek.

By the time we’re done from our holiday, we would have ticked off around 5 of the places you have recommended.
